Day 5 – The Planck Regime as a Boundary Intersection
One of the deepest questions in physics is why our two most successful theories-General Relativity and Quantum Field Theory- both reach their limits at approximately the same scale.
Traditionally, the Planck regime is viewed as a place where "our theories break down."
In the fifth paper of this Boundary Science series, I explore a different structural interpretation:
What if the Planck regime is not the failure of reality—but the intersection of multiple descriptive boundaries?
Instead of treating the Planck scale as an isolated singularity, this work proposes viewing it as a shared regime boundary, where multiple mathematical descriptions simultaneously lose structural validity.
This perspective does not propose new quantum gravity.
It asks a different question:
Can the limits of our theories themselves be understood as structural objects?
If so, the Planck regime may represent one of the clearest examples of a shared descriptive boundary rather than an endpoint of physics.
