One of the largest projects I've completed over the past year has been the Structural Atlas.

The idea began with a simple question:

If we describe very different scientific systems using the same structural methodology, do recurring organizational patterns begin to appear?

Phase I applies Boundary Science Structural Reduction across ten domain groups spanning physics, biology, ecology, engineering, information systems, materials science, social systems, and more.

The goal was not to replace existing theories, but to create a common structural language that allows systems from different disciplines to be compared side by side.

Phase I produced approximately 100 structural reductions and several synthesis papers. It also marks the transition from observation to Phase II, where the emphasis shifts to independent evaluation, quantitative testing, and refinement.

If you're interested in the overall research program rather than a single case study, this paper serves as the entry point.
